What is the DSBIA?

The Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association (DSBIA) is a non-profit organization that focuses on improving the experience of members, residents, visitors and stakeholders in Downtown Surrey by creating a lively downtown.

The DSBIA was created by a core group of business and property owners in Downtown Surrey who met to discuss the wellbeing of the area. Interested in the Business Improvement Area (BIA) concept, they saw this as a promising planning and economic development tool for the area.

The DSBIA’s mission is to:

  • create a vibrant, safe, and livable Downtown Surrey
  • foster positive community and government partnerships
  • collaborating for a safer community
  • promoting revitalization and community development

Who is this for?

This report will be used to inform Downtown Surrey BIA, other stakeholders and community members so that they can determine which projects to advocate on behalf of YOU, of the community, to better your experience in Downtown Surrey. (This report will also be available to the public.)
